My father was a member of the Raleigh CCC Camp. I recently came across a few photographs of him at the camp, one with the camp name and company number sign. He always talked about the CCC work he did and in part credited his experiences and training with his assignments in the Marines in WW II. If you are interested in the photographs, please let me know. There are other members in the some of the photographs, but unfortunately I have no names. |

Greetings. My husband and I recently enjoyed a weeklong stay at Watoga State Park and were very impressed with the CCC work preserved there. I work part-time doing historic research for a local park district in Ohio that was largely created by the CCC, so I am very interested in CCC history in other states. Now that I know about the museum in WV, I hope to visit it in the future. Thanks for what you do and keep up the good work! |
