I have been doing research on my father and found that he was a member of the CCC, probably in Wayne County. How do I verify that he was? |

Happy 79th Anniversary of the CCC. Franklin D. Roosevelt fought for work programs during the horrible Great Depression. The CCC was one of the most successful in a bold move and by some fierce opposition FDR signed it into law in March 1933. Over 3 million men and women served in the CCC and helped in a big way make what our Nation is today. The CCC boys and gals with their CCC military type training were ready for the war that came in 1941. |
