Father, Gorman Mason was at camp f-15 in WV. We have a picture of 100+ in their uniforms and ties. We would like to know more about what the men at the camp worked on. |

Researching work performed by the CCC in the land areas now in the Monongahela National Forest. Hoping to learn more about the road building projects. Specifically I am interested in information on explosive magazines (1 room masonry bunkers) which I am researching that were used by the CCC or WPA. We understand that they are associated with road construction but I want to know more about how and when they were utilized by the crew explosive handler. Help on this would be appreciated. 570 296 9628. |

My husband’s grandfather, Lester Mallery, was from WV and was in the CCC first in London Kentucky. He finished up in Altena, WV as an ambulance driver with the rating of “Excellent” . I received information from the archives in Missouri about it today and am very excited! There were so many details we did not know which will be a huge help. He was discharged in 1936 after finding employment. He later went on to serve in the U.S. Navy during WWII. |

My grandfather Peter Barcomb was inducted into the West Virginia State CCC Hall of Fame in 2013. He joined the CCC in 1939 at CCC Camp Dix, New Jersey and transferred to Camp TVA-AV22, Maynardsville, Tennessee and then to Camp Elk Creek F37, Trail, Oregon before returning home to Rouses Point, NY (info. obtained by my Aunt Ruth Justice). I was only 4 years old when my grandfather passed away. I never really got to know him he certainly did some amazing things. He was an amazing man. |
